Random General Ramblings
Wow! I had the freaking most amazingist, awesomest, most fun I've ever had in my life EVER trip to Dragon*Con this year! Detailed Con posts will begin later this evening when I get home. I simply can't transcribe from work.

Speaking of work, I am buried in SharePoint books today. BOR-ING! All I want to do is read Padackles fic.

Which reminds me... no new SPN until October 4th? October FOURTH? *sighs and whines* I may have to go spoil myself after all. I just don't know if I can wait that long. Right before we left for D*C, we watched the SPN episode Bugs and dude! We had NO idea! What an important episode to the series emotional component! They get into the family dynamic and Sam and Dean's feelings here more than possibly any other episode in the season. I can't believe we missed this the first time around!

My TV schedule this year is not really all that different from last years. Which is weird, because there were SO many good shows last year I didn't think we'd be able to watch them all. Of course most of them got canceled, but still, I figured for an even bigger rush this year.

Monday: Heroes | Tuesday: Bones, Reaper*, Boston Legal | Wednesday: Bionic Woman*, Lost (eventually) | Thursday: Smallville, Supernatural | Friday: Moonlight*, BSG (eventually)

*blinks* Where are the Sarah Connor Chronicles? Midseason? NEVER a good plan. Ah well.

In other news, the school bus failed to pick up our elementary school aged children not just once, but twice. Thank Gods Billy stayed over and got up with the kids Tuesday morning, because we were BEAT after getting in at 1am. He had to drive them to school and go in and talk to the people at the office, though, because the bus never showed. On the FIRST day of school. This same shit happened last year, too. And then today, it didn't show AGAIN. I wanted to call the school and ask them if the bus driver is a drunkard, or WTF, because THEY make the schedule and send it to US. How hard can it be to look at the map and show up at all your stops?

Getting out of bed was sooooooooooooooo hard this morning. We took yesterday off just to relax, and we're STILL tired today. Mentally I'm refreshed, although these SharePoint books are quickly trying to put a stop to that.

Speaking of which, back to work *cracks the whip on herself*

Well, today they said there was a breakdwon, although I, like Dom, suspect they just make shit up. Apparently the beginning of the year is "really hard". But, um, dude, you're a bus driver; this is your job, there's only a finite number of stops. Seriously, WTF?

I mean, how many years have your kids gone to school there? I know they're young, but it's at least one or two, right?

When I was in high school, we had this like, 80 year old guy, and he NEVER forgot us. So what's this one's excuse?

It's "hard"... um, maybe you should try for a career in the food service field, then.

This is their second year. So yeah. At least last year it was KIND of understandable because we'd just moved here.

And I think they probably change bus drivers like underwear, here.

*LMAO* I don't know. "Would you like try combo?" can be pretty trickier than one might think. Gods know it's tough even getting my FAST FOOD order served correctly around here.

Yeah, I should totally watch who I invite to go work in fast food. Currently, my local Dunkin' D has SERIOUS trouble with "Large French Vanilla with Cream and four Sweet N Lows."

Imagine if I added food!

Well, I hope your kids' driver figures out wtf s/he's doing soon. It sort of defeats the purpose of being on the bus route if you still have to drive the kids to school!
