Firefly Fic - Drabble: Mal/Zoe
Drabble using a prompt from 100_situations over on LJ. Series of Mal/Zoe from pre-war to post-Serenity. These drabbles are written in no particular order but do form a whole story. Romantically oriented, PG-13.

Beggar

The next time they make planetside after Wash dies, Mal goes out and gets himself good and soused.

That night, he staggers home to Serenity and falls to his knees before Zoe, arms spread wide to beg for forgiveness, or, perhaps, to welcome her wrath.

He stares at her with red-rimmed eyes, and there are no words passed between them, as their way so often is.

After a while, she kneels in front of him and rests her forehead against his. He knows she knows how he feels. Zoe always knows.

He closes his eyes and hopes it's enough.

Knows it isn't.

	So, so good. I haven't even begun to ponder the aftereffects of Serenity. I'm new, you know. But my 15th viewing should have fic just pouring out of me. G smooches you back Where are you? Oh, I'm sure, just any DAY now, right? *L* I have serious Mal love. Like, for serious. Did I mention Mal? And serious love? Forced to choose between Mal and Angel? *whistles* Man... I just. DON'T. KNOW.

I'm sure the universe is just dying to throw such challenging decisions at me. Aaaaannnnnny second now.

ZOMG! This has been, like, lyffe/Hell work week all rolled into one big ball of crazy in a four day special. More like Speshul, actually. TOMORROW. Tomorrow, I will post something/catch up on journaling. And maybe tonight a little. I hope. I'm never going to catch up, am I? *clings*

*snuggles you* You will never, ever catch up. The trick is just to jump in mid-stream and pretend you were never gone.

Mal does rock things madly, I confess. He is my FF lust-bunny, and today, my favorite character. (I told you it changes!) I suspect that there's just not enough of him for me to fall in love the way I did with Angel.

But then, I haven't really read any fic, either. What I need are some recs. *hint hint*

I hope your Lyffe gets smoother, easier, and is filled with more free time and chocolate shortly, because I miss you. *smooch*

	Oh, I LOVE Firefly. I don't like to compare it to Buffy or Angel, because they're different, but Firefly does appeal to a different part of my interests. I was very sad when it was canceled.
